Brush Crazy was formed and founded by Dawn Marsh and her husband, Doug, from the inspiration she found in the arts as a painter, maker, and creative soul. She was called to open her own paint-and-sip studio after a period of transition in life. At first, she was reluctant to undertake her own business, but ultimately Dawn really found peace and happiness within her calling.
The owner/founders of Brush Crazy oversee both the Colorado Springs and the Montana locations. Doug and Dawn both have unique roles in building a Brush Crazy business model that thrives and excites customers. Dawn is the creative keeper--painting samples, and offering creative direction on the many offerings Brush Crazy has. Doug is the business-minded side of things with marketing, vision, and research and development to make sure Brush Crazy grows and flourishes.
Doug and Dawn both find a lot of peace, comfort, and inspiration from the beach and ocean sunsets. When they’re not at the Brush Crazy studio, you might find them at the beach or playing music for their church’s worship team.

“People ask us if we’re therapists,” Lori Giffin jokes.
Now their Columbus, Ohio location of Brush Crazy is a community hot spot for artistic expression, community, and friendship.
