Mosaics are a part of the unique Brush Crazy studio offering! We share this unique craft with our visiting artists and hobbyists because the possibilities are endless and the results are amazing. If you have an eye for all that sparkles, then the soothing, meditative art of mosaics might be exactly the thing for you.

Our vast project library will inspire you with mosaic ideas and mosaic patterns to follow. Our friendly staff can also teach you how to mosaic, by offering different tips, tricks, and techniques to bring your mosaic from start to finish.

How to Make Your Mosaic

If you’re new to making mosaics, we’ll keep the process simple for you. You’ll find an abundance of colorful glass tiles to choose from in the neatly kept rows of mosaic supplies. We can help you gather your materials or simply advise on your specific questions, based on your skill and comfort level. We’ll point you in the direction of the mosaic tiles, grout, glass nippers, glue, paint, stencils and more to make sure you have all the materials you’ll need to make your mosaic.

Our instructors can help you learn the process of making a mosaic, from choosing a suitable object and design, to preparing the surface and arranging your mosaic tiles with careful attention to ensure your project meets your expectations.

Once you’re pleased with your project and have glued all your mosaic tiles to your material, then you can grout 24 hours after the glue has dried - if you did not paint a background first for artistic accents. It’s a wonderfully detailed and satisfying project that is totally creative.

You can come back to the studio to grout your project yourself, or you can take grout home to finish your project 24 hours later. Finally, you can pay an extra fee to have our amazing artists grout your project for you to pick up another day. We will notify you when your project is ready for pick up.

Making a mosaic at Brush Crazy is more than just an experience. Your finished project can be an excellent gift or meaningful addition to your home décor. Kids and crafters of all levels can find great satisfaction in these rewarding projects, and we encourage you to come browse our many holiday themes, skill levels, and more to find a project that is truly customized to you.

How does this work?

Walk in or book now to come into the studio to paint on canvas, ceramics, wood and more! You can choose a project when you get here, or preorder from our Shop. The project price includes everything you need to complete your project and get help from an artist as you need it. This allows everyone to choose something within their budget. If you don't finish in your allotted time or our open hours, just take it home, bring it back at no extra cost when we are open.

How much does it cost?

We have projects from $15 up to over $100. We have a good variety between $20-$40 in wood, ceramic and canvas.

How do I find a calendar of classes and events?

Does my deposit get applied to my purchase?

Yes. You can have your deposit turned into Studio Credit and applied to your party or you can ask the artist to refund it back to your card.

Can I bring outside food and drink?

Each studio has their own policies based on their location.

Can I walk in anytime or do I need a reservation?

You may walk in anytime however we appreciate reservations to help us staff appropriately. On busy days we may need to call in extra artists to help and making a reservation helps us with giving you an amazing experience!

Does everyone in my group have to paint the same thing?

No, not here! You all can choose different projects when you get here or preview our inventory in the Shop. We have over 900 unique paintings with step by step instruction to guide you through the process as if you were taking a class, you can get help from our friendly artistic staff anytime you need it.

Do you have sitting fees?

No! All our projects include everything you need. There are a few projects that have add-ons like the bubble art, marbling, pouring projects, mosaics, and metallic glazes. Ask the staff to check on pricing for each add-on before you check out.
