We offer a customized canvas painting experience!
Canvas painting is an especially fun and unique option at Brush Crazy. Our process allows you to do a number of projects in a number of ways. The canvas painting project depends on your personal goals and desires, and our team will walk you through choosing your project, collecting your materials, and following the project instructions to whatever extent you wish.
At Brush Crazy we don’t operate under stressful timelines of group canvas painting classes that follow a specific formula. Unlike some sip-and-paint classes, we avoid an overwhelming class style that follows a quick-paced step-by-step format that can leave you feeling behind. Instead, we truly meet you where you are and allow you a customized experience that takes out all the stress and leaves you with a truly memorable experience creating a one-of-a-kind piece that you can be proud of.
Sip and Paint
Have you been searching for a Sip and Paint that doesn't feel stiff and too structured? Do you worry about following along and leaving with a perfect project? We had this crazy idea to buck the norm and develop a sip and paint model that emphasizes a relaxed vibe of embracing your own pace, your own level of experience, and emphasizing your own unique artistic expression.
Our enthusiastic team has a lot of talent—not just for the art itself, but for teaching. As our team buzzes around the classroom, you’ll be in good hands if you have a question or need help at any point during your process. However, we don’t focus on hovering or hollering orders and steps. Every single person chooses a unique project, meaning you’re never left to keep up with the crowd or compare your work with others.

Paint on Canvas
We offer a variety of canvas projects to choose from and often folks ask how to paint on canvas. If you’re looking for a DIY tutorial, or have a Brush Crazy project you’re taking home, we do offer a to-go method. Here are a few tips for planning your canvas project for in-studio or at-home DIY success.

Step One
Gather Your Materials
If you have a to-go project from Brush Crazy, your materials will be neatly packaged by our team! Find out more about our to-go offerings in our Shop.
If you order ahead to stay in our studio, we will have your project ready for you so you can focus on your creative experience.
You are always welcome to come in and browse our canvas sizes, choose your design, and we will help you gather that materials you will need.

Step Two
Grab A Primed Canvas
Our canvases are pre-primed and ready for you to paint with any of our 40+ acrylic paint colors including metallics, neons, and glow-in-the-dark.

Step Three
Follow Your Plan
If you are creating an original work, follow your initial sketch or underpainting. If you have a Brush Crazy canvas project, follow the paint sheet in-studio or the included tutorial with your to-go project.

Add Details
To Build Your Painting
Depending on the project you’re working on, the painting technique can differ. If you are working on an acrylic painting, you’ll find it dries very quickly (15-20 minutes). This can allow you to build details and layer very quickly and if you use enough paint, blending is easier to get the look you may want.

Let it Dry
Then Seal Your Painting
If your art project is a same-day-done project, you’ll be able to head home with your project in tow. In the event of fluid art or pouring art projects, we will notify you when your masterpiece is dry and ready for pick up - usually the next day.
